Prince William highlights efforts made as Duke of Cornwall

Prince William the Duke of Cornwall has taken to Instagram to shed light on his ongoing efforts to combat climate change. In a series of videos he shared with the public the measures being undertaken by the Duchy of Cornwall which he leads.

The main goal at the heart of their mission is achieving “Zero Net farming.” But what exactly does that mean? “Net Zero” is the delicate balance between the amount of greenhouse gases produced and the amount removed from the atmosphere. In other words it’s all about reducing emissions to combat climate change.

After conducting research between 2021 and 2023 which involved establishing baseline farm carbon budgets for all equipped farms there is emerging evidence that four farms on the Duchy Estate have already achieved a net-zero status.
